At Faye Farms we believe firmly in letting a cow be a cow. What does that mean to us? It means we feed our cows what nature intended them to eat and we let the mamma cows raise their calves. We are constantly seeking a more natural/healthy way to manage our dairy. Currently we are milking 20-30 cows year round. Our cows always have access to plenty of pasture. During the green season they are 100% grassfed. Through the winter our cows are fed local grassy hay, non-gmo alfalfa and a modest amount of non-gmo grain so they stay a healthy weight. We do not use preventative antibiotics or artificial hormones. We don't believe in using pesticides or herbicides on our grazing ground and we do not use artificial fertilizers.
